Spring is right around the corner. Spring is time to think about engagement and anniversary photos! Maybe as importantly, it’s time to think about what to wear to your engagement session. I’m especially excited about engagement season this year because my husband and I are doing an anniversary session… in Paris!
What to wear to your engagement session? My go-to resource for outstanding outfits is Rent the Runway. Last year, I signed up for a Rent the Runway Unlimited subscription. Many of my brides rented gowns for their sessions. The results were outstanding! All of these images are examples of what Rent the Runway has to offer.
Using Rent the Runway for your engagement is perfect for two basic reasons. One, you are able to rent a ridiculously chic dress to turn your engagement session into a Vogue model shoot. Being engaged is a once in a lifetime moment, and I love brides who embrace it and go all out for their sessions.
Secondly, renting a dress or two for your session is a good idea because you are going to take a LOT of photos in this or these dresses. You may not want to wear the dress again because everyone will have seen you in it.
So, rent an Oscar de la Renta for the weekend and let’s go shoot around the monuments or marble pillars of a great museum.
As I am getting ready to go to Paris for our long-delayed honeymoon, I want to pick Rent the Runway Unlimited subscription. Rent the Runway rents their gowns for $50-110 each. The Unlimited subscription is only $139 and includes three items at a time and free shipping both ways. I want to rent a ball gown and two amazing cocktail dresses for our week in Paris. When I return, I’ll still have three weeks to rent the runway.
So, check out the website to find what to wear to your engagement session. If you purchase using a link in this blog post (like –>>this one<<–) you’ll be helping your girl out! You know you want to see my dreamy Paris photos in something more styling than a t-shirt and jeans, right? Me too!
