After a wedding venue snafu with their first venue, Meg and Kyle booked their dream– a Bluemont Vineyard wedding reception– just on an off date. That’s right, Bluemont Vineyard was booked on their dream date, and so they settled for their second choice venue…. encountered a snafu, and then booked Bluemont.
After it became apparent that their venue would not have a remodel completed in time, Meg and Kyle scrambled to find backup venue. Luckily, they were able to have a Bluemont Vineyard wedding on an off-day, a Friday, and they were over the moon! Bluemont had been their first choice after all. Perfect things are often worth the wait– am I right?!

Meg and Kyle started their day primping at a local hotel. Their details were perfection! Meg wore a beautiful button-back gown with illusion lace details. Kyle tied his owe bowtie– a classy touch! Meg gifted her bridesmaids luxurious pashmina shawls.
Meg attached custom made pendants to her bouquet. The pendants were photos of important people who have passed away.
Meg’s dress was jaw…. dropping. The illusion and lace back with beautiful button details was perfect for her chic, Bluemont Vineyard wedding.
Meg planned a first look with her dad, but her dad showed up early. Unexpectedly, this off-schedule moment was one of the most touching of the day. Her dad watched from the corner, tissue box in hand. Meg’s dad is a tough New Yorker with sweet spot for his little girl. This moment had so much more meaning than anything we could have planned.
And then there were these bridesmaids! How stunning are they!?! Navy and silver details looked beautiful on everyone.
Kyle gifted custom bobbleheads to his groomsmen— do this!! Such a fun idea, and what guy doesn’t want a bobblehead of himself to sit on his office desk. #studmode
After getting ready, Meg and Kyle headed to St. Theresa. This church is special to Kyle because he grew up in this church. It was fun to hear the priest regale us with stories of a young Kyle.
As Kyle watched his bride come down the aisle, he was a ball of nerves! Compare this photo with the beaming photo of Kyle recessing after the Mass.
St. Theresa’s in Ashburn has a beautiful beamed ceiling! The architecture and the nuptial blessing?? So powerful!
Beaming Kyle!
